A building is a system, and when something goes wrong the cause usually sits across more than one layer at once: how it was designed, how it was built, and what the assemblies and systems are doing years later. Whoever can explain one layer usually has a stake in it, which is the part they see least clearly. The architect owns the design. The contractor owns the execution. The product rep owns the product. The owner pays all of them and lives with the result.
Endure reads the building for the owner, across those layers, down to what is actually driving the problem. The calls get checked against code, against established building-science practice, and against field-tested trade practice built up across many project types, not against one person’s judgment.
When this helps
A building is failing and the parties involved each blame a different cause. A renovation or a new project is still early enough that a mistake on paper is cheap to fix. Bids came back high or the drawings look risky, and the decision needs an independent look before it is committed. The answer needs one set of eyes with no financial stake in it before real money is spent.
What comes back
A clear account of what is driving the problem, traced to the code and the practice behind it, and a sequence of corrections in the order that protects the budget and the schedule. The work is most valuable while a problem is still cheap to change, whether that is early design, a pre-construction review of a drawing set, or the diagnosis of a building that is already underperforming.
Where the judgment comes from
The judgment draws on two bodies of knowledge. The founder leads it, with a construction and building background that runs across field construction, design, coordination, and proportion.
